Desciption: Very good windsurfing conditions, no extreme currents. You can have some strong winds called Mistral and Tramontane.
Some windsurfspots:
Leucate, Leucate is known as the windiest spot of France, a lake near the Med.
Carro, a spot with high waves, more for experts.

Portugal, Guincho
Praia do Guincho
Praia do Guincho is the best of all portugal's surfing beaches located near Lisbon.Sun and wind is an everyday condition in Guincho, Portugal's most windy surf spot. The sandy beach is wide and beautiful. You can go for speed sailing or waves and enjoy the hospitality and quality food of the country.
The waves are often big and can be too much for beginners.

Where to stay?
Opened since April 2008, Guincho surf beachostel is the newest Hostel in Cascais and the only one at walking distance to the famous beach of Guincho, known to be one of the best water sports beaches in Europe.

If you like to party, Guincho bar (located at the north end of the beach) is open all summer long until late , with music, great cocktails and regular beach Reggae parties and occasionally out side DJs also invited.

The best area for windsurfing are the regions of the Aegan Sea. The winds are good from may till september.
The best months are July and august.

The Netherlands
The Netherlands, Roermond
Oolderplas,small lake. approx. 1,5 km by 1 km., located in the south of Holland.This is a small lake near roermond, the lake is only for windsurfing, no kitesurfing allowed.
The lake is good for speedsurfing.
No current, no big waves,
There is a surfcenter where you park and gear up, you are asked to pay if you are not a member. I believe it's around 6,50 euros. ( 1 car, 2 adults)

Amstelmeer, Lutjestrand
A small lake , approx, 2 by 4 kilometers, located in the north of Holland.
No current, no big waves but good winds.
Ideal for beginners or experts.
There is a parking near the water.
